DAY 01: ARRIVAL / DAMBULLA

After arrival you will meet our representative at the arrival lounge and will be welcomed. Then you may start your tour.  

 

En-route visit;

• Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage  

 

“Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975 by Sri Lanka department of wildlife conservation. It was originally established to make protection to the orphaned wild elephants found in forests of Sri Lanka. It is an orphanage, a nursery for elephants. Presently more than 60 elephants live here including baby elephants. The area is about 10 ha. And bathing an viewing are is on the Maha Oya River opposite if the orphanage. Bottled milk feeding done two times in one day for the baby elephant’s and visitors can take part in bottle feeding for the elephants.”

DAY 02: DAMBULLA

“Sigiriya Rock fortress - which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (473 - 491 A.D.) The "Lion Rock” is citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat, rampart, and extensive
gardens including the renowned water gardens. The world renowned frescoes of the "Heavenly Maidens" of Sigiriya which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by spiral stairway is one of the main attractions. The frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster”

“Kandy, The last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a world heritage city. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the Last Sinhalese king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1806, visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts museum and lapidary. The evening is the best time to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. There after witness a traditional cultural show.

Day 04: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

More than 4000 species of plants found here including many varieties of orchids, Medicinal plants, palm trees and many rare species of trees.”

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya / Bentota

Breakfast at the hotel / check-out / Leave to Bentota.

An 800 year old Hindu temple found in a small islet called Satha Pahe (five cents)”   

 

Overnight stay in Bentota

Day 07: Bentota / Colombo

After Breakfast check-out from the hotel then proceed to Colombo.

Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood, yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. Hindu and Buddhist temples, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Colombo museum, the Bandaranayke memorial international conference hall (an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the people’s republic of China) The new Parliament in Sri Jawardanapura The Capital of Sri Lanka) and the folk art centre are some of the places of Interest that one can visit to.”
